The Brothers

Last week, I took the boys to the school nearby so that Jude could play on the play structure.  When we walked up in the stroller, Jude and I realized we forgot to put his shoes on before we left the house.  There was tree bark everywhere so splinters were inevitable if he ran around the play structure.  I let the boys instead run around the school's open grassy area for a while.  I just so happened to have brought my nice camera along.  Lots of running, crawling, and picture-taking took place.  I may just have to forget to put shoes in the stroller more often ;)

A few newborn pictures

In our life group, there were 6 babies born in an 8-month period.  It was awesome.  Here are a few pictures of two of the little guys that have joined our life group family.

First up: Caleb Edward Shamlian.  Caleb was about a month old at the time.  We had a fun mix of getting him to sleep like a newborn along with a few of him looking attentive and excited about his 1-month-old life.  He is such a wonderful addition to the Shamlian family!  What a cutie.

This is Caleb with his big sister Annabel.  Annabel and Jude are great friends.  They most recently connected while camping over marshmallows and all things related to dirt.

Next up is Mr. Miller Diaz Bickel.  Miller is awesome.  His look in this first picture says it all.  What a handsome guy.  He is the most recent baby born and I cannot wait to see who he becomes over the next months and years.  He is already loved by so many!

Our sons are so very blessed to have other young boys to grow up with.  I have a feeling our little Owen will have some very close friends in Caleb and Miller for many years to come!

Playing Catch Up

Here are some pictures of what I have been up to the past few months (in no particular order).

First up, Miss Amelia Jo.  This was Amelia at 9 months, she is now 1 year.  She was too much fun.  I adore her!

This next set was not a photo shoot necessarily but just two of my favorite kiddos hanging out with Jude one rainy afternoon.  Maddex is Jude's best bud and Paisley is their awesome sidekick.  Here's hoping to many more rainy afternoons with the Zimmerman crew.

.

Last but not least, here is a photo shoot of Gemma and Summer.  These are two more of Jude's favorite people.  I am so thankful for these sweet girls and their mama!

The Twins!!

It has been a while since I have posted.  I have been taking pictures but have not made the time to sit and post them.  I will play catch up and post sometime soon some of my favorites over the past month.  Today, I will share some recent ones...the Haury twins!! Meet Abigail and Jacqueline.  They are so tiny, so precious, so perfect.  As I edited these pictures, I couldn't help but think about how amazing and creative God is.  Thank you Candice and Micah for letting me capture these two!!

The Haury's and A Few Others

Last week, I was honored to be able to take a few maternity pictures for Candice and Micah Haury. They are in our life group, and Orlando and I are so thankful for these two (about to be 4!!). They are pregnant with identical twin girls. I cannot wait to see Candice and Micah as parents. They are going to be incredible.

The rest of the pictures are of the boys.  Here is Jude with Popa at the Farm Equipment Show.

Lastly, Owen's 3 month pictures.

Round Two

Here is the 2nd round of pictures captured over the last few weeks!  It has been tough finding time for photography when the lighting is right and the kiddos are happy.  My goal is to not use my flash (if possible).  This makes it more challenging with two little ones when we are inside a lot.  I will be excited when the time changes and there is more daylight in the evenings when Orlando is home :)

Gina and Josh had just gotten the keys to their new place!

In the hallway of Gina and Josh's (my childhood home till I was 7).  I have memories of moving out to the hallway in the night with my pillow and blanket to sleep.  Apparently, the carpet was more comfortable than my bed.
